Our Mission
The mission of the Communicating for Health in Appalachia by Translating Science (CHATS) Lab is to leverage the power of communication to improve health outcomes in Appalachia and beyond through original research and by fostering the adoption of evidence-based science.
Our Research
Our original research focuses on how to best understand and reach audiences wherever they are with effective health messages. We use our expertise in communication and dissemination science theories and frameworks to move this research to acion.
